Kenneth Remy Sr., established Remy's Used Cars 7 miles west of McArthur in 1969. John Remy moved into the car business in 1989 taking over the daily running of the lot providing courtesy, economy and variety every day of the year.In 1997 Remy's Used Cars expanded to St. Route 93 south of McArthur for a second location providing the same quality service.

Herb Meadows was hired in 1996 to work at sales for the Allensville lot with 10 years experience as service and parts manager for new car business in the area. Gene Vanover was hired in 1998 with 28 years selling experience with General Motors.

Remy Mobile Homes Inc., was opened next to Remy's Used Cars in 1978 by Kenneth Remy Sr.. It then expanded to a second location in 1990 in Chillicothe run by Kenneth Remy Jr.. They have one of the largest selections of manufactured houses in Southern Ohio.
